Local Housing Strategy of Marco de Canavezes

The Local Housing Strategy was completed and presented on July 30, 2020.

This instrument provides for the investment of more than 8 million euros in investment by the Municipality, with the financial contribution of the Institute of Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU) based on four main objectives:

– Conversion and Rehabilitation of buildings of the Municipality for rent, namely deactivated Schools;
– Cost-controlled construction in urban areas;
– Rehabilitation of the existing Housing Park, with an emphasis on the neighbourhoods of Murteirados and Talegre
– Rental of fireworks for sublease to families under the ‘1st Law’.

This “Strategic Plan” was developed throughout the year 2020 in partnership with CM de Marco de Canavezes and under the coordination of the consulting firm “Aguiar de Matos Consulting“
